Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to make an appointment?
No, you will still have the option to schedule an appointment. All appointments for prom and homecoming will ONLY be taken in our early morning appointment slots. Guests without an appointment may be subject to longer than normal wait times on the Weekends. We are asking that all guests sign in.
Can I wear heels to try on dresses?
We ask that you do not wear heels while trying on prom dresses, we do our very best to combat damage to our gowns and not wearing shoes especially heels will help us in doing so!
What undergarments should I wear to try on?
We suggest bringing a light-colored strapless bra and panties. We can work with whatever you've got! Bras are optional but panties are NOT! We highly value your comfort! From time to time, we have dresses that can be complicated to put on and your Stylist may need to be present in your fitting room to help.
How many people should I bring to try on?
We ask that you only bring one or two guests with you for prom dress shopping. We ask that male guests sit in a section away from the dressing room seating area.
Does your Boutique offer alterations?
No, not in store, we are currently outsourcing all prom and homecoming dresses. When your dress is purchased, we will discuss which seamstress/tailor will fit your needs best and you will be given a card for that professional. ALL alterations are an additional fee, and our stylists are not able to quote prices for alterations at this time.
I found a dress I love but you do not have it. Can I order it?
Yes, and sometimes unfortunately no. We will verify with you the size, color and style number of the dress You are looking for. In our designer portals we can see live inventory, if the dress is in-stock we will be able to order it. However, if the style is out of stock with the designer, we will not be able to order but will give you options if any are available in the same style.
Do you price match?
Yes, we are happy to do a price match if the style you are looking at is in stock with a valid designer style number, size, and color. If any of these criteria are not met, we cannot price match. Inquiries regarding price match must be discussed with a member of Management, these inquiries will be answered Monday through Thursday.
